Today I weigh myself and I am 51kg. In September 2011 I was 57kg. Pre-pregnancy weight was 50kg. This 1 kg is just sooooooooo hard to come off. So what did I do to lose the weight? I exercise and go on a diet. But not a strict diet though because I am still breastfeeding Shan and I get hungry all the time. I just make sure I cut down on carbo (rice) and replace it with bread or potatoes. I also eat a lot of vegetables and fruits. In fact, I drink fruit juice everyday (which is also good for the skin!). Other than that, I go on the cross trainer everyday for at least half an hour everyday (An hour if I have an awesome movie/DVD to watch while doing it).
I realize that the weight stays at 51kg even if I eat too much on certain days – and that’s because I exercise! So yay!
Currently crazy about OPI shatter nail polishes. Did this 2 days ago when I was bored and I totally love it! Gotta make full use of my free time now to do some crazy stuff before shoot starts again! Tee hee.
If you have been watching me on Girl Power on Suria, you should know this line “Saya ni sukaaaaaaaaaa sangat dengan makeup”. Hehe. Which is so true, you should see my makeup box. I have so many, my helper worries about me not using them.
…and that is why, I have now (just like Diah!) started on doing 1 to 1 Makeup Classes! Diah started waaaay before me, simply because I didn’t have my helper yet back then and I can’t be doing a 2 hour makeup class with no one attending to Shan right? So now that I have a helper, I can do it too! Super excited because Diah kept telling me how much fun it was to teach makeup.
Last week, I had my 1st student, Sue. She was the first few who emailed me to enquire on my makeup class and she asked me if I
can also teach her to do hair. I was ecstatic because if you don’t already know, I looooooove doing hair! It is my forte. I can curl anyone’s hair! (except for mine cos my hair is super stubborn!)
Anyway, Sue came and we immediately clicked! Well, she was super shy at first but we started talking and we ended up talking about relationships and proms and so many makeup tips! Here is Sue when she came, without any makeup on.
….I did one side of her face, and then her turn to do the other side.
…and then, as requested by her, I taught her how to curl and do French twist! Isn’t she gorgeous?

Thank you for the opportunity, gorgeous, and oh the feedback!
“Hi again, just wanted to say thank you sooooo much for being my makeup and hairstyling guru
for today! I learned so many tips and techniques (that I have been doing wrong all these while). I hope I would be as good as you someday. Your makeup today was flawless despite it being a 5 min makeup! Thank you once again sis Nurul!
And also, for listening to my prom crisis and all. I got to meet your precious Shan too! Thank you and take care.
”
So happy to receive such an encouraging feedback (NOW I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL Diah Mastura Roslan!) so ‘puas hati di Golden Chance’ you know? :p
So motivated now, I swear!
To find out more about my personal makeup class, simply email me at aanurul@gmail.com. Next, I
have a pair of sisters attending 1 lesson together. How girly can it get?
I CAN’T WAIT!
